On the edge, one step from the end. I looked down and saw people living their lives. And looked at myself. What do I live for? Who do I live for? I close my eyes and breathe. Take in the setting sun and the cool breeze. And as I opened my eyes to see the colors of the sun slowly leaving the world. And I saw your smile, the tears in your eyes and you telling me, “You are all I have… Don’t leave me.”

I am not afraid, my baby love. I know that I am safe in your arms. I know that life may give me things I can’t handle. But I will choose you over even life, even my beating heart, even death itself.
